Luke Sawtelle
Luke has been playing bass and guitar for 10 years. Some of the groups/musicians he has performed with include: Eric Marienthal, Randy Brecker, Jimmy Haslip, The Inside Out, Grand Theft Girlfriend, Uno Jazz I and II, Uno vocal jazz, Uno percussion ensemble, Sonus, and Oneword. He has performed on stages at Uno, the Holland Performing Arts Center, the Ranch Bowl, The Rock, the Sokal Underground, and Jazz Louisiana Kitchen. He has also played in the pit for various musicals at community theaters in the area including the Omaha Community Playhouse, the Bellevue Little Theater, and the Chanticleer Theater. He is currently a music student at Uno finishing up his degree in Music Technology.
Luke caters all lessons to the individual student’s needs and desires. He tries to keep an even balance of learning music theory, reading, memorization, and learning music by the student’s favorite artists.
