INSTRUCTOR PROFILE

Hello, I’m Jason! I am a college trained musician and I’m currently booking new students with guitar and ukulele.

I have experience teaching any age. Prior to my college experience and becoming a private instructor, I too, signed up and took private lessons in Omaha in the exact same setting that you or your student will be in. With all of my experience, I can assure you that your lessons and scheduling will all be ran in an orderly fashion. I’m always a call or text away!

I’ve been playing guitar for 14 years and graduated from UNO with a guitar performance degree. There, I studied under Jeff Scheffler, while performing for several jazz combos, and in the Jazz 1 big band.

I play rock, jazz, blues, RnB, funk and I also practice singing, bass guitar, violin, as well as teaching ukulele.

I typically play with a pick but can also play fingerplucking styles like ragtime and classical music. I can also teach ear training, sight reading and music theory. Also, I have been performing since 2011 at places like the Greeley Jazz Festival in Greeley, Colorado, the Holland Performing Arts Center and the Rose Theater with professional musicians like Peter Erskine and Donny McCaslin.
